OTA approves studies on adding lanes to Creek, Kilpatrick turnpikes

OKLAHOMA CITY
- The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority on Wednesday approved two engineering studies on adding lanes to the Creek and Kilpatrick turnpikes.

The authority approved spending nearly $1.4 million for planning and design firm Benham Cos. to study adding inside lanes to the Creek Turnpike from U.S. 75 to Memorial Drive in Tulsa.

It also approved spending slightly more than $1.4 million to study adding lanes along the Kilpatrick Turnpike from Eastern Avenue to MacArthur Boulevard in Oklahoma City. CP&Y was awarded the contract.
