Statewide
*** I-35 lanes at Pauls Valley, Ardmore open ***
All lanes of southbound I-35 are currently open between SH-9W just south of Norman and the Texas state line. Although northbound I-35 remains narrowed near Ardmore, all lanes are expected to open by 6 p.m. this evening. Motorists should be aware that crews may continue shoulder work at some locations during the weekend.
*** I-35 narrows near Norman overnight Thursday, opens Friday ***
The left lane of southbound I-35 will be closed between SH-9E in Norman and SH-9W from 7 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday for bridge construction. After 6 a.m. Friday, all lanes on the I-35 corridor between Oklahoma City and the Texas state line are expected to be open throughout the weekend.
I-35 narrows near Blackwell
North and southbound I-35 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between US-177 near Braman and SH-11 near Blackwell in Kay Co. for resurfacing and between SH-11 and US-60 near Tonkawa surface repairs.
I-40 narrows near Warner
I-40 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between US-64 near Warner and the Arkansas River (through Muskogee Co.) for resurfacing.
US-69 narrows in Checotah
US-69 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at US-266 in Checotah for ramp reconstruction.
US-69 narrows, exits to Indian Nation turnpike closed, detoured in McAlester North and southbound US-69 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at the Indian Nation turnpike interchange for pavement rehabilitation. The southbound US-69 off-ramp to southbound turnpike and the northbound turnpike off-ramp to southbound US-69 are both currently closed and signed detours are as follows:
From southbound US-69 to southbound turnpike, drivers will continue south on US-69 for two miles exiting at the Army Ammunition interchange, crossing over the bridge, returning northbound on US-69 then taking the southbound turnpike exit.
From northbound turnpike to southbound US-69: drivers will continue northbound for approximately seven miles and then exit US-270 (#70 exit)eastbound, traveling through town about five miles then exit southbound US-69.
US-69 narrows near Durant
North and southbound US-69 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction at two locations between US-70 near Durant and the Texas state line for new construction and surface repair.
Oklahoma City Metro
I-40 speed limit reduced west of Oklahoma City
Drivers can expect construction on east and westbound I-40 between El Reno and Yukon. Lanes are open, but the speed limit is reduced to 60 mph in the work zone.
Tulsa Metro
Ramps close at US-75/I-44 junction
The eastbound I-44 off-ramp to southbound US-75 and the northbound US-75 off-ramp to eastbound I-44 are closed for a bridge deck replacement. Drivers can utilize the cloverleaf ramps at this junction as a detour, or locate an alternate route if possible.
Inner Dispersal Loop ramps, lanes close until early 2011
All lanes of eastbound I-244 will be closed on the west and north legs of the Inner Dispersal Loop. Expect delays and plan for extra travel time in this area as traffic adjusts to these changes. The south and east legs of the IDL are the primary detour routes around the closures.
The following ramps are closed:
Eastbound I-244 on & off-ramps at Cincinnati/Detroit (north leg IDL)
North and southbound US-75 ramps to eastbound I-244 (SW corner IDL)
The southbound Tisdale Parkway off-ramp to westbound US-412/US-64/SH-51
The two left lanes of northbound US-75 approaching the SW corner of the IDL.
