A $5.6 million grant will help determine if Laredo could one day have an option for another form of transportation. The millions will be shared between Texas and Oklahoma for a passenger rail study, a study that didn’t even originally include border areas, until government leaders amended the plans.
“Laredo has been given its chance. It has been included in the study. Now comes the hard part. Proving Laredo wants the opportunity.”
