Piedmont City Council Raises Road Fee As Part Of 2-Year Road Repair Plan

PIEDMONT, Oklahoma - The city of Piedmont approved a road maintenance hike Monday night to help improve several roadways throughout the city.  This will increase 2,500 residents within the city.  The $10 monthly fee generated 300,000 a year for road maintenance.

The new $38 fee would generate over $1 million and $840,000 for the road construction. They're hoping to do 2 miles per year.
