OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Owner of Ball Golf on N. Robinson Ave., Stan Ball, said a lot of his traffic uses the Broadway Extension. So he expects the interchange construction at Interstate 235 and I-44 to have an effect on his customers.

"We don't depend a lot on drive-by traffic, necessarily," Ball said. "But, we're mostly appointments and I can see those getting delayed a little bit occasionally as people get the hang of it here for the first month."

He said he gave customers information on how to get around the congestion expected on I-235. Some alternate routes encouraged by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation are Lake Hefner Pkwy., Lincoln Blvd. and I-35.

"At 8 a.m. and then at 5 p.m., it's backed up pretty good," Ball said. "So until we get the hang of how to get other places, but I'm sure those other streets like Western and Eastern, like we were talking about, they're going to feel a lot of that traffic coming and going."
