Democrats face tough choice in gubernatorial primary elections

Oklahoma Democrats are facing a hard choice between two popular statewide officials vying for their party's guber-natorial nomination.
Attorney General Drew Edmondson, a former legislator and prosecutor, passed up seeking a fifth term as the state's top elected legal official to run for governor.
Lt. Gov. Jari Askins, a former judge, legislator and chairwoman of the state's Pardon and Parole Board, decided against seeking a second term to run for the state's chief executive spot.
