OKLAHOMA CITY — Heavy rains have again flooded Interstate 44 ramps onto and off of Classen Boulevard in Oklahoma City.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said Wednesday morning that the ramps are closed after a night of rain and that they will remain closed all day as crews pump water out of the area.
The ramps were first closed Sunday following a weekend of heavy rain. They were reopened Tuesday afternoon.
Officials say damage to the drainage system below the ramps causes the water to back up and flood the ramps.
