SHAWNEE, Okla. — State Transportation Commission officials have awarded contracts for two road improvement projects in Pottawatomie County recently.
State Sen. Charles Laster, D-Shawnee, and Rep. Todd Thomsen, R-Ada, who rep- resents the far southern portions of Pottawatomie County, made the annnouncements.
According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, one of the project involves asphalt resurfacing along SH-102 from 1.6 miles south of the SH-39 junction, extending north. ODOT awarded the contract on the projects for $212,174.24 to Haskell Lemon Const. Co. The Oklahoma City company was the lowest of five bidders for the job... FULL ARTICLE
