TULSA, Oklahoma - Road construction of any kind is tough to put up with. The only consolation in this instance is most of it shouldn't last too long.

But despite the headaches you may be enduring, construction along TULSA highways is moving at a rapid pace.

Deputy County Commissioner John Fothergill, says now is the best time to start.

"We have 4 seasons here in Oklahoma, and one of those seasons is the winter and when it freezes you can't do concrete very well or asphalt," Fothergill says asphalt plants won't even open if it's not going to be above 40 degrees... FULL ARTICLE & WATCH VIDEO
