Work-zone crashes up

If you've driven anywhere in Tulsa recently, it will come as no surprise to you that the state logged the highest number of highway work-zone accidents and injuries last year.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation reports that there were 1,278 crashes in road construction zones, resulting in injuries to 767 people. Seventeen people died in those accidents.
Next week has been designated Work-Zone Awareness Week in the state.
Work-zone safety might seem like an insignificant issue to many. But to anyone who's ever been injured or suffered the loss of a loved one in such an accident, a preventable accident of this type is a life-changing tragedy... FULL ARTICLE
