OKLAHOMA CITY - Supporters of a ballot measure on education funding announced the formation Thursday of a coalition to secure its passage.
The measure, State Question 744, would require the state to increase per-pupil spending to the regional average. It is among 11 state questions that will appear on the Nov. 2 general election ballot.
The campaign for the state question, Yes on 744, announced the formation of a larger group of supporters, the Yes on 744 Coalition.
Michael Kolenc, the coalition's campaign manager, said, "We are pleased that so many different groups from around the state of Oklahoma have decided to support this important initiative to help Oklahoma's kids... FULL ARTICLE
