A coalition of business and labor groups is opposing a ballot initiative that would significantly increase spending on public education.
Members of The One Oklahoma Coalition met Thursday at the Norman Veterans Center to express their concerns about State Question 744, which would direct more than $850 million to education spending. They say that if the petition passes, 20-25 percent of all state services - including veteran care - would be cut, and thousands of state workers could loose their jobs... FULL ARTICLE
