OKLAHOMA CITY - General revenue fund collections for November were up 22.6 percent from the same month a year ago, Preston Doerflinger, director of the Office of State Finance, said Tuesday.
"We got a bonanza from gross production taxes on oil, but collections were also strong across all major tax categories," Doerflinger said. "This is evidence that Oklahoma's recovery from the recession is ongoing as our economy continues to outperform those of most other states and the nation as a whole."
November general revenue collections brought in $424 million.
Individual income taxes brought in $158.8 million, up 21.2 percent from November 2010.
