The Stillwater City Council will review bids for local street projects Monday during its regular meeting at city hall.
Contractors have submitted bids for four projects, but city officials will recommend bids for only two of the projects be accepted. Transportation Director Ralph Kinder said bids for two projects came in well over engineer’s estimated costs.
What Kinder will recommend are bids to repave about a mile of 19th Street between Sangre Road and South Country Club Road as well as rehabilitating three neighborhood streets near Sixth Avenue and Perkins Road.
