Lanes to be closed on SH 60

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation was scheduled to start lane closures on State Highway 60 Monday, but didn’t, Acting City Manager Mike Bailey said.

The city didn’t know Monday night when the state agency would start replacing guardrails on the highway from west of Silver Lake Road. The project will move east, and require the west- and east-bound lanes of traffic to be closed. The project is expected to last at least 60 days.

They will work their way east from that location. The project is expected to last 60 days.
