$50-million federal grant to speed-up project
Your Monday morning commute will be different, and likely worse if you're in the area of downtown Tulsa.
The I-244 ramps off the south leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop are closed as the Oklahoma Department of Transportation begins the replacement of the I-244 westbound bridge over the Arkansas River.
ODOT is closing those ramps because they're going to have to do some work on the westbound bridge, including knocking it down and building a new one.
These closures will last for several years and will impact those who drive on the Broken Arrow Expressway that need to either get to U.S. Highway 75, the Sand Springs Expressway or to I-244 westbound toward Oklahoma City... FULL ARTICLE
