The majority of Oklahoma’s transportation funding comes from the federal government. In the last year, the Federal Highway Trust Fund has been replenished twice with multi-billion bailouts from Congress, but a long-term solution to funding infrastructure must be found.
In order to foster understanding among Oklahoma stakeholders about this critical issue, TRUST is partnering with The Oklahoma State Chamber to host a series of moderated question and answer panel discussions on solving the federal funding crisis. McAlester is the fourth of five events statewide.
