3 Tulsa bridges are getting a thorough inspection starting Monday
Inspections could mean lane closures for your daily commute.
The 21st street bridge, 11th street bridge and 71st street bridge over the Arkansas river are all getting thorough inspections.
The inspections are done every other year as a requirement on city crews by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration.
Crews use specialized equipment to look for cracks in the bridge deck, the supports, and the bearings.
The the eastbound outside lane will be closed to drivers on each bridge from 8am to 5pm over the next few days.
