SHAWNEE, Okla. — State Rep. Anastasia A. Pittman participated in two bridge dedication ceremonies, alongside Director of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation Secretary Gary Ridley, U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Nate Green, the Central Oklahoma Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction Inc. and the families and friends of community leaders C.E. Pittman and Lecia Swain-Ross.
“I was honored to participate in the dedication of these two bridges, which Douglass High School alumni and students requested be named after two prominent historical members of the community,” said Pittman, D-Oklahoma City. “These ceremonies were an opportunity for attendees to celebrate the honorees’ contributions to the community.”
Green, a Douglass High School alumnus, praised the event.
