The left lane of north and southbound U.S. 169 will be closed between the I-244 junction and 56th Street North from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. today as part of a widening project, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation announced.
Officials also said that one lane of east and westbound Pine Street will be reopened at the U.S. 169 junction starting at 7 a.m. Monday as part of this project. All lanes of northbound U.S. 75 will remain closed at the Interstate 44 junction until 6 a.m. Monday as part of a bridge deck project.
Officials said that all northbound U.S. 75 traffic will be routed to the eastbound I-44 exit. The highway detour will follow eastbound I-44 to the Oklahoma 51 (Broken Arrow Expressway) junction, where drivers can either take westbound Oklahoma 51 or loop back to westbound I-44 for access to northbound U.S. 75.
Officials also said that the right lane of southbound U.S. 75 will remain closed until further notice.
All lanes of eastbound I-44 will be shifted onto new driving lanes between Yale Avenue and the 41st Street bridge starting 3 p.m. today until further notice as part of a widening project. Officials said westbound I-44 traffic will not be affected by this change.
As part of this traffic shift, both the eastbound I-44 on-ramp from Yale Avenue and the off-ramp to 41st Street South will be closed.
