Several ramps will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today for surface repair, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation announced.
The announced closures at that time include:
- The northbound U.S. 169 on-ramp from 81st Street South
- The eastbound Interstate 44 off-ramp to northbound U.S. 169
- The westbound Interstate 244 on-ramp from Sheridan Road
The new lanes added onto U.S. 169 between the I-244 junction and 56th Street North are open to traffic.
Temporary lane closures may be required occasionally for safety feature installation over the next couple of months. However, officials said that most of the remaining work requires warmer temperatures to complete and will be scheduled in early spring.
The overall project is scheduled to complete in early 2011.
