U.S. 75 narrows at 71st Street today

The right lane of northbound U.S. 75 will be closed at 71st Street South from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today for surface repairs, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation announced.

Officials said the northbound U.S. 75 off-ramp to 71st Street South will also be closed during that time.

The right lane of eastbound Oklahoma 51 (Broken Arrow Expressway) will be closed between 21st Street South and Pittsburg Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today for brush removal. The eastbound Oklahoma 51 on-ramps from 21st Street South and Harvard Avenue will also be closed at that time.

Various lane closures on north and southbound 193rd East Avenue at the Interstate 44 junction starting this morning until further notice as part of a widening project.

As part of Tulsa's Inner Dispersal Loop project, all lanes of eastbound Interstate 244 are closed on the west and north IDL until early 2011. Additional lane closures include:

- Greenwood Avenue (north leg IDL) from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. today

- Eastbound I-244 on and off-ramps at Cincinnati and Detroit avenues until further notice (north leg IDL)

- North and southbound U.S. 75 access to eastbound I-244 until further notice (southwest IDL corner)

- The two left lanes of northbound U.S. 75 approaching the southwest IDL corner until further notice

- The southbound Tisdale Parkway off-ramp to eastbound I-244/U.S. 412
