NOWATA COUNTY, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says both east and westbound U.S. Highway 60 will be closed at the Verdigris River bridge starting next Wednesday, October 20, 2010, and remain closed for two months.
The bridge is east of the community of Nowata.
ODOT says the closure is due to a scheduled bridge rehabilitation project.
Starting next Wednesday, traffic on U.S. Highway 60 will be detoured to U.S. Highway 169 and state Highway 28.
