State agencies to see more dollars under budget bill thanks to revenue-raising measures

OKLAHOMA CITY — State agencies on average will see a 10.92 percent hike in the upcoming fiscal year, according to information released Tuesday.

“We have no cuts for agencies for the first time in a long time,” said Senate Majority Floor Leader Greg Treat, R-Oklahoma City.

Total appropriations are expected to be slightly more than $7.5 billion, up from $6.8 billion in fiscal year 2018. It increases spending by about $745 million above last year, Treat said.
