Woodward County District 2 crews will be starting the process of hauling rock to build a detour road in preparation for a 5-mile reconstruction of EW County Road 51 from Sharon to NS County Road 201.
The reconstruction of the road is scheduled to start next summer. The official detour will start at EW 51 and NS 198 and go south 2 miles to EW 53. The detour will begin by going east from From EW 53 and NS 198 to Highway 34, said Woodward County Dist 2 Commissioner Clint White.
Woodward County District 2 will begin the process next week laying rock to build the road up. The detour road is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
