Wrong-way detection systems going up along I-35 from Cleveland Co. to Red River

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) said a hi-tech system, designed to protect us from wrong-way drivers, is working.

Now, they’re expanding the systems to the ever-busy I-35.

Several Oklahoma bills hope to reduce DUI-related incidents

“Wrong-way crashes in Oklahoma are not the most common type of crashes we have in Oklahoma. But when they do occur, they’re some of the most severe crashes we have,” said Bryce Boyer with ODOT.
