$44 million Highway 69 reconstruction project to begin in Muskogee this October

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation will reconstruct 2.5 miles of Highway 69 through Muskogee beginning in October, a project expected to take two years and cost more than $44 million.

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is planning a reconstruction project for Highway 69 in Muskogee.

Crews will rebuild about 2 and a half miles of the highway, from about half a mile north of the State Highway 165 interchange, through the city of Muskogee. They’ll also increase the height between the highway and the pedestrian bridge to allow taller loads through on the highway. View the full article: Newson6.com
