Air taxi research facility to open in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Flying cars may seem like something you’ve seen in a TV show such as “The Jetsons”, but something similar could soon have a spot in Oklahoma. A new research and operation facility broke ground Thursday morning at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.

“Now, America has long been a global leader in aviation innovation, but maintaining that leadership requires more than just building a new airplane,” said Chris Rocheleau, FAA Deputy Administrator.
