The Association of Oklahoma General Contractors continues to build, improve and maintain Oklahoma’s roads and bridges through the 8-Year Construction Work Plan. This plan outlines the strategies set forth by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for projects in all of Oklahoma’s 77 counties. The 8-year plan is the state government’s only long-term and transparent financial plan, that, as a result, has helped Oklahoma rise from #49 to a Top 10 state for bridge conditions. Most importantly, however, Oklahomans and other motorists are traveling on safer roads and bridges. Additionally, Oklahoma’s economy benefits from jobs that are created through road construction.
