City of OKC begins sewer main project August 3rd

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The City of Oklahoma City says contractors hired by the Oklahoma City Utilities Department will begin the installation of a new sanitary sewer system in the main adjacent to the Edgewater Lakepointe neighborhood.

Starting August 3, 2026, work is set to take place in the greenbelt area owned by the Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust south of S. Lake Hefner Drive.

City officials say postcards are in the mail for households in the Northwest area or adjacent to the Green Belt area.
