City removes May Ave bridge at NW Expressway: See latest construction

Construction on Northwest Expressway is making progress after crews removed the May Avenue bridge as part of their effort to improve the interchange.

The construction affected traffic along Northwest Expressway for about four days, with most construction happening overnight.

The City of Oklahoma City emphasizes that the street is still accessible with traffic signals still in place for north- or southbound drivers.

The extensive $15 million project will turn the space into a diverging diamond interchange.
