Construction project shuts down busy intersection in Oklahoma City's Uptown District

OKLAHOMA CITY — A construction project will cause traffic headaches for people driving through the Uptown District in northwest Oklahoma City.

New road closures went into effect Monday morning as crews continue a multi-million-dollar project designed to make Northwest 23rd Street more walkable. Construction has been ongoing in the area for months, but there are a couple of new changes drivers will want to take into account if they have to drive through the area.
