DOT expects project to widen highway to start in late 2025

Finance! Yahoo By Cathy Spaulding, Muskogee Phoenix, Okla. March 28, 2023 Mar. 28—Oklahoma Department of Transportation confirmed progress on work to widen U.S. 69 (32nd Street) south of Okmulgee Avenue to six lanes, plus occasional center turn lanes. "We are actually working on additional rights of way right now for the project," Wallace said. "There's actually not a lot of new rights of way that we'll need. Most of it is places to relocate utilities. That is ongoing right now."
