Drivers To See Traffic Changes At I-235, I-44 As Next Phase Of Construction Begins

Drivers merging from northbound Interstate 235 to westbound Interstate 44 will have to come to a complete stop starting Wednesday morning.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says this will impact drivers through the rest May.

Flaggers will be in the area that drivers will need to pay attention to when they are stopping. These flaggers will help direct traffic on the ramp, and also alert drivers to new signage that shows the changes.

These changes will give construction crews more room to install new bridge beams at the junction...
