Edmond interchange named after former ODOT, OTA director and Chickasaw ambassador

EDMOND, OKLA (KOKH) — The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) announced during Monday's commission meeting that the interchange of I-35 and E. 33rd St. in Edmond will be dedicated as the "Ambassador Neal McCaleb Memorial Interchange."

Neal McCaleb, who passed away in January 2025, served as Director of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the Oklahoma Transportation Authority, as well as Cabinet Secretary. He also served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives for eight years and was elected Minority Floor Leader in 1978. View the full article: OKCFOX.com
