Feds officially rename I-81 through Syracuse

The federal government has formally approved the change of name for Interstate 81 in Syracuse, Gov. Kathy Hochul said Tuesday in a news release.

I-81 in Syracuse has been renamed Business Loop 81, between the southern and northern interchanges with what is now Interstate 481.
