GRAYSON COUNTY, Texas (KXII) - Grayson County commissioners approved repairs to Blythe Road Tuesday morning after receiving several public complaints.

The work is in response to potholes, deterioration and bumpy conditions on the stretch between Highway 5 and Highway 75 that prompted drivers to contact the county for improvements.

Precinct One Commissioner Josh Marr said the project will cost about $208,000, with the bill split four ways between the county, the city of Van Alstyne, the city of Howe and the Howe Municipal Utility District No. 1.

“For any of the constituents that have driven this road, they know this is probably one of the worst roads in Grayson County, especially down here in the precinct,” Marr said.
