NE Rogers Lane Drainage Repair Project Update

July 10 Update: NE Rogers Lane from NE Tortoise to NE Village Dr. is back open as of 11:45 a.m. on Friday, July 10, 2026. We appreciate everyone's patience during this repair.

July 7 Update: Work continues on the drainage repair project at NE Rogers Lane. Stormwater Maintenance crews are on track to complete their portion of the work by the end of this week (July 10), after which the Streets Division is expected to begin roadway repairs next week. 

The City was notified of the drainage failure on June 25. Emergency utility locates were immediately requested, the roadway was closed to traffic, and notification signs were installed at Flowermound Road and Gore Boulevard, Flowermound Road and Cache Road, and along NE Rogers Lane from I-44 to the closure. Additional barricades were placed at NW Brentwood on June 26, and all utility locates were completed by June 29.
