ODOT Approves $31 Million Repair Project For Part Of Tulsa’s Interstate System

TULSA, Okla. - Construction is coming to another section of Tulsa’s interstate system. Oklahoma Transportation commissioners approved a project Monday to repair parts of the IDL.

It's a $31 million project that's focused on the eastern leg of the Inner Dispersal Loop, the highway that surrounds downtown Tulsa.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation began rebuilding the IDL in 2009, as part of the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

The southern leg of the IDL near Denver Ave was rebuilt a little more than a year ago and this eastern leg is the final portion to be rebuilt.
