Oklahoma Allowing Cheaper Farm Fuel Onto Highways

Oklahoma drivers can now tap into cheaper off-road fuel on public highways without facing state enforcement for the next 120 days. Governor Kevin Stitt said this week the state is suspending enforcement over red-dyed diesel used in highway vehicles to help farmers and ranchers facing high fuel costs. This fuel is tinted red because it skips highway fuel taxes, since farm tractors work fields instead of roads.
