OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Dirt could begin moving as soon as next month on the first phase of a controversial planned turnpike in the Norman area, after the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority voted to condemn one of the final pieces of property it needs to build the new route between Newcastle and Norman.
The Turnpike Authority voted Tuesday to condemn and seize a parcel of land along Indian Hills Road near Pennsylvania Ave., where the agency plans to build the first phase of its new East-West Connector turnpike. View the full article: KFOR.com
