Street Rehabilitation Project to Start on East Admiral Place between Harvard Avenue and Yale Avenue

City of Tulsa

Press Release

February 11, 2021

A street rehabilitation project on East Admiral Place between Harvard Avenue and Yale Avenue is scheduled to begin during the 10 days following Feb. 15. Traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction in the work area.

Access to all businesses will be maintained and marked with blue “Business Access” signs. City street projects show how sales taxes and property taxes are funding road improvements. Tulsans are encouraged not to avoid construction areas, but to support the area businesses throughout the construction project.

This project consists of milling – removing the old surface of the road, patching underneath the surface, and then replacing the roadway surface. The project also includes waterline replacement.

The City of Tulsa has contracted with Ellsworth Construction for this $4,177,046 Improve Our Tulsa project. Completion of the project is scheduled for the end of 2021.
