Wrong-way crashes on the rise in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — It's a trend that needs to make a U-turn -- wrong-way crashes.

Twenty-four people were killed in wrong-way crashes on Oklahoma roads in 2019, according to the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office.

AAA says nationwide there were more than 2,000 deaths from wrong-way driving crashes between 2015 and 2018.

They say that is an increase of 34% from the previous four years.
