House Democrats this week are taking an early victory lap for their massive infrastructure bill that would spend hundreds of billions on roads, bridges, transit and rail.

No, not the one you're thinking of.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's caucus is preparing to pass a $715 billion transportation package this week — perhaps even with a handful of Republicans — that would spend big on areas that are also centerpieces of President Joe Biden’s infrastructure push.

“It’s a strong job-creating package that seizes the once-in-a-century opportunity to rebuild America’s infrastructure,” Pelosi said at a press conference to tout the bill, flanked by committee chairs.
