Bill honoring 9-year-old Talyn Bain killed in 2025 fatal crash moving forward

OKLAHOMA CITY — A bill honoring the life of nine-year-old Talyn Bain who was killed in a Glenpool crash last September is receiving bipartisan support at the Oklahoma State Capitol.

FOX23 covered when the fatal crash occurred in Sept. 2025 and when the legislation was filed in Jan. of this year.

House Bill 2979, also known as the Talyn Bain Act, would require the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to establish 45 mile per hour school zones on certain high speed highways.
