Catoosa interchange project faces delays and rising costs

CATOOSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The ongoing interchange project at State Highway 66 and I-44 in Catoosa is experiencing significant delays and increased costs, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT).

Originally slated for completion by summer 2026, the timeline has been extended to late this year or early next year due to unexpected underground conditions, including more rock than anticipated.
