Jul 2, 2024

ENID, Okla. — Enid city commissioners were told during their study session Tuesday, July 2, 2024, that the city has obtained the roughly $1.5 million needed to continue the project to widen Cleveland.

The next phase would widen Cleveland from the BNSF Railway tracks north to Willow.

“Well, this is very exciting news,” City Manager Jerald Gilbert said. “We have been working on this project for quite some time.”

Oklahoma Department of Transportation now will provide the final $1.5 million necessary to complete funding.
