If you’re traveling on I-40 on Monday, you’ll notice construction starting near Douglas Boulevard. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is telling drivers to expect more congestion on the roads and delays, but the changes from the project will be worth the wait. It is the first day you’ll see crews starting construction on I-40 near Douglas Boulevard. Officials said this project will help widen I-40 and make other changes to keep drivers safe.
