Construction begins next phase at Black Wall Street Square in Tulsa

Habitat for Humanity says the mixed-income housing project is moving forward after weather-related delays.

TULSA, Okla. - Construction crews have moved into the next phase of work at Black Wall Street Square in Tulsa, a Habitat for Humanity housing development aimed at expanding homeownership in a historic area.

The project, located near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Reading Street, has been in development for about two years and broke ground in 2023. Habitat officials say recent winter weather and infrastructure issues slowed progress, but those challenges have now been resolved. View the full article: Newson6.com
