Construction underway along Highway 75 near Preston

Safety improvements aim to reduce crashes at the Highway 75 intersection near Preston, with construction expected to finish by year’s end.

OKMULGEE COUNTY - Changes are coming to a busy intersection in Okmulgee County.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says improvements at the Preston Road, also known as Will Sampson Road, intersection of Highway 75 are designed to make the area safer for drivers, though construction will mean temporary lane closures.

Traffic is already slowing through the work zone.
